We will combine a presentation of the book, Zapatista Stories for Dreaming An-Other World with a reprise of the history of the Zapatistas, as well as an analysis of their current projects and situation, as the thirtieth anniversary (January 1, 2024) of the uprising approaches. And as paramilitarization and attacks on the communities intensify, along with the mega-development projects of the supposedly left-wing president, Andres Manuel Lopez-Obrador (AMLO) such as the Mayan Train:
