Anarchism teaches us how to end things: an affinity group, a relationship, or the state itself. Though we learn means must match ends, we also need room to cast off what no longer serves us. We’ll even have to break up with some of the ideas and identities we hold dear for total liberation. For now, we can look at how our relationships offer us space to experiment with forming different worlds. We try, we fail, we try again. In this workshop, I’ll propose some queer anarchist approaches to relationship and worldbuilding, while inviting participants to share their own relationship wisdom and dilemmas as forms of prefiguration.
