This workshop will discuss Anti-authoritarian food movements formed on turtle island. It will discuss groups like the Black Panthers, Brown Berets, The Young Lords and others. It will cover the formations of these groups as well their focus on food and how access to food is intrinsically tied to racial and class movements.
