To celebrate the opening of This is Not a Local Struggle, an exhibition of ephemera from the revolutionary movement against Cop City in Atlanta, we will host a marathon reading of every one of its communiques, chronicling 3 steady years of sabotage and clandestine action. You’ll laugh, you’ll cry, you’ll cheer. This is a relaxed and communal celebration with a very hot mic, starting at 7pm on Sunday the 22nd, at Interference Archive in Park Slope. Take a look through the exhibit as you wander in and out of the archive and add to it if you can. Just like our continued and collective, decentralized struggle, this exhibit will only be a space for encounter and passing on lessons if we take it upon ourselves to come and share whatever we have with whoever we’ve got. Sign up to read communiques for a ten minute block whilst there or just yell shit from the crowd. There are chairs, seltzers, and outdoor overflow space, and the archive is wheelchair accessible.
