This bilingual (English and Spanish) presentation offers a brief history of the repression and criminalization of the Indigenous Mazatec community of Eloxochitlán de Flores Magón, Oaxaca, and specifically the case of the anarchist Miguel Peralta.

We’ll cover the history of the conflict in Eloxochitlán, the processes of criminalization, persecution, and imprisonment against members of the community assembly, and the current situation of Miguel Peralta, who continues to face political persecution from the Mexican State.
