Presenters: Autonomous homeless solidarity organizers

Homeless solidarity organizing workshop: Four million New Yorkers live with housing insecurity unsure if they’ll be able to make rent. One hundred thousand languish in the shelter system while more than 5,000 sleep on the streets. By developing a network of care, safety and action with our neighbors who have been deprived of their housing we are preparing for our collective survival no matter what comes our way. The autonomous homeless solidarity network is localized rapid response support for mutual aid needs and sweep defense for our neighbors in encampments under constant threat of state violence.
