ARBORETA is a queer sound collective composed of Creative Arts Therapy candidate Sal Daña and Grammy winning cellist Leah Coloff, as well as any playing members who would like to join. The practitioners will use flute, cello, and singing bowls to provide an acoustic sound bath that attunes to the parasympathetic nervous system to assist in stress relief. Sound bath sessions have been shown to reduce cortisol levels in listeners. Participants are invited to sit/lay/move throughout the space as needed.
