A drop-in activity where folks create index card art and writing in response to my prompts. The prompts range from your favorite physical body “flaw”, a book and gift you’d give to someone you personally know, a pattern of any kind that intrigues you, and building Wilcaville–where you create the fictional city with other participants, establishing citizens, streets, holidays, gossip, graffiti, ads, and more. I’ll be providing the index cards and art supplies, including magazines, scissors, glue, markers, and such though others are more than welcome to bring their own. I will also have on hand example cards and zines with the prompts. Anyone can create, provided their cards don’t glorify hate nor violence. I will then print the accepted index cards into a zine and will mail a copy to every participant with their provided mailing address.
