Presenters: Solidarity Union Network (SUN)

Join author and veteran anarchist Daniel Gross in conversation with Juan Gonzalez Valdivieso, a convener of the Twin Cities workers assembly, to discuss Daniel’s new book Unions of Our Own: 8 Building Blocks to Change Work…and the World. Is it worthwhile for anarchist workers to form or revitalize labor unions, or are unions hopelessly compromised? Is there an anarchist way to build unions, and if so, what is it? What are the lessons from the workers’ assemblies in Minneapolis and what is their significance for the resurgence of anarchism today? This participatory discussion will work through these questions and more. We’ll leave with practical insights and ideas to apply in our collectives, workplaces, assemblies, and movements
